As a solo woman traveler looking for the best cruise, it’s useful to take the time to check out the travel companies that offer cruises as part of their business …
She Cruises is a site for women who love to cruise. As promised I now have details for our Inaugural She Cruises Voyage. It is going to be amazing!!
She Cruises is a sister site to Sixty and Me, a global community of women over 60. When Sixty and Me was launched 5 years ago, our mission was to bring women over on a virtual journey of self discovery and reinvention. We wanted to empower and help women to live a beautiful life in their sixties. Our goal was to challenge aging stereotypes and offer friendship and connection to women around the world.
Our women are now of all ages and we have many women in our community in their 40’s and 50’s, 70’s and 80’s. The desire by independent women to live life with passion and purpose knows no age boundary!
Now, we are taking things to a new level. Women have told us for years that they wanted activities where they could meet people in person, face to face, hug to hug! They want to meet like-minded women and make new friends!
Cruising is a passion for many women in our Sixty and Me community. Personally, I have always been fascinated by the sea and believe the experience of cruising can be a wonderful way to see new places, meet new people and enjoy a unique and wonderful time together.
For our first She Cruises voyage, I wanted to work with a cruise line I trust. I have cruised twice with Fred. Olsen and enjoyed both experiences. What I liked most was their affordable pricing, wonderful itineraries and a culture supportive of solo travellers. Fred. Olsen offers a culture of warmth and kindness and an award-winning group cruising team who can provide expert support and handle all the logistics involved.
I looked at several different options and decided that for our first cruise adventure we would focus on an experience that was short, affordable and beautiful. Norway is, in my opinion, one of the most scenic and fascinating places on earth. Here are the details of the Sixty and Me cruise I’ve chosen for May 2020.
This short 5-day Norway cruise features a voyage in the magnificent Norwegian fjords and a visit to beautiful Bergen. It starts in Newcastle, UK is a very popular itinerary and I expect it will sell out quickly. So, we ask that if you are interested, you jump on this opportunity as soon as possible.

In order to keep things manageable on board for me, I have decided to keep our group to around 60 women.
Connecting Before the Cruise
We will have lots of opportunity to connect before the cruise! I have already started a private Facebook Group for this cruise called She Cruises Norway Adventure. Only women booked on the cruise will be allowed to join. You can apply to join when your booking is confirmed.
You can also check for regular updates on our She Cruises sites:
Workshops and Networking
I will of course be on board and look forward to meeting everyone in a casual and fun way. I have also invited Ariane Poole to join us for talks on beauty and skincare. She is an amazing friend of our Sixty and Me community and understands that women who are aging beautifully want to look and feel on the outside the way they feel inside! She will do fun makeovers on board throughout the journey!
So, if you are interested in being part of our first She Cruises adventure, please contact me today at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will guide your through the booking process outlined above.
I hope you can join us, I am confident that this first She Cruises voyage will be an amazing experience!
